History, Accolades, and Experience
Our Central Texas law firm is led by two experienced criminal defense attorneys, Chandler R. Muller and Thomas D. Sommerville. At Muller & Sommerville, P.A., we take a collaborative approach to larger cases, working together and with an experienced support staff to create the strongest defenses and best solutions possible.
Chandler R. Muller practices as a criminal defense attorney, and has been a member of The Texas Bar for 42 years. He is board certified as a criminal trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and is board certified as a criminal trial attorney by The Texas Texas. Mr. Muller is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He is AV®-rated* under Martindale-Hubbell’s peer review rating system. He was the recipient of the 1999 William A. Trickle Award for Professionalism, given in recognition of outstanding professionalism in the practice of law by the Orange County Bar Association. Mr. Muller was also named Trial Lawyer of the Year for 2002 by Florida's American Board of Trial Advocates.
Thomas D. Sommerville has focused on criminal defense throughout his career. A former public defender and active member of the legal community, he has defended businesses and individuals accused of a wide range of crimes.
